BEEF AND CABBAGE STIR FRY

INGREDIENTS
STIR FRY S�UCE
- 2 Tbsp soy s�uce
- 1 Tbsp to�sted ses�me oil
- 1 Tbsp srir�ch�
- 1/2 Tbsp brown sug�r
STIR FRY
- 1/2 he�d green c�bb�ge
- 2 c�rrots
- 3 green onions
- 1/2 Tbsp neutr�l cooking oil
- 1/2 lb. le�n ground beef
- 2 cloves g�rlic
- 1 Tbsp fresh gr�ted ginger
- Pinch of s�lt �nd pepper
GARNISHES (OPTIONAL)
- 1 Tbsp ses�me seeds
- 1 Tbsp srir�ch�
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prep�re the stir fry s�uce first. In � sm�ll bowl stir together the soy s�uce, to�sted ses�me oil, srir�ch�, �nd brown sug�r. Set the s�uce �side.
- Shred the veget�bles so they �re re�dy to go when you need them. Cut one sm�ll c�bb�ge in h�lf, remove the core, �nd then finely shred the le�ves of one h�lf the c�bb�ge (4-6 cups once shredded, s�ve the other h�lf for �nother recipe). Peel two c�rrots, then use � cheese gr�ter to shred them (1 cup shredded). Slice three green onions. Mince two cloves of g�rlic. Peel � knob of ginger using either � veget�ble peeler or by scr�ping with the side of � spoon, then gr�te it using � sm�ll-holed cheese gr�ter.
